Johnie recently received the Michigan Senior Citizen of the Year Award for Leadership and he has lived by the belief that if “better is possible, then good is not enough.

WOW! That is touching. My mom sent me this link. The things you can learn about your own family by listening to others stories. This story is so much like the others I heard. The words “If you want to get something done, cantact Johnie Rodebush”. I heard that for years. Listening to how he spoke about my Grandparents is so true. Even though they passed on… I can see and here them now. Hearing the words Beebe Farm. That was down the road from wear I was raised. My grandparents are Eugene and Zula Cuthbert. Aunts and Uncles are Dick, Dale, Betty and My mom Beverly. Listening to this really touched my heart. Hearing there names after so many years leaves me at awe. Johnie is not forgotten by the Cuthberts nor Stevens. Hearing there names brings back great memories. Like a legend that is living on. Family still speak highly of Mr Rodebush as a friend. Actually more like a family member. Thanks for having him on. If you can get this message to him, Tell him I also say thanks. In the meantime, I have some ralatives to call. After-all this is the first time I heard that My Aunt Betty hit someone’s truck with a farm tractor.
